The All-Women Australia football team promotes empowerment and inclusion.
The Centennial Tigers are only the second women's team in the country. They are built on tenacity, integrity, humor, empowerment, respect and athletes.

Lone Tree, Colo. - South of the Denver metro area, only the second female-Australian rule football team lives in the country, although their sport may be foreign, but their policies are universal.
"Centennial Tigers was founded on an organization of core values: tenacity, integrity, grit, empowerment, respect and athletes," said team president Sarah Edwards Rohner. "And really, even though we really like to win, the game is really about, or the team is really about empowering women and teaching them to find their inner strength."

Edwards Rohner has been a former amateur and pro rugby player for 15 years, including two international team stunts. He then competed internationally in Australian football and was selected in the AFL International Cup before returning to the States to start his own club.
Not everyone is a former professional athlete. Tigers embrace women anywhere in the journey of life.
Jennifer Elliott said, "I hope I started this much earlier in life. I had no idea what the benefits would be." "We welcome everyone, not just your background, but your level of sport or ability or your exposure to it.
Chris Briggs is the only Australian among the Tigers. Born in Melbourne, Australia, he has been an amateur player for seven years.
“No matter what level of physical fitness you have, no matter what size or shape you are, you are welcome,” he said. "Just come along and have some fun."
Everyone is welcome to the Tigers, regardless of their sexual orientation, racial identity or even gender identity.
“I’m a mother of four and actually have a transgender son and I have a lesbian daughter, so inclusion is very important to me,” Elliott said.
She's not the only mother on the team - not even close. There is a whole group of women who have not finished their athletic careers, as they have grown their families.
Edwards Rohner said, "Whoever has a son," I didn't want them to want to end it just because they had a child.
Briggs has given birth to babies who have already left home but she still wants to shed some sort of stereotype.
"Sometimes it's like one of those labels where it's 'I'm more than a mom!' I'm a worker, I'm creative, I'm talented, and I'm social! "She said.
Amanda Newell is one of the founding members of the Tigers and she is also the sister of Sarah. Neole has two children and is also a public school teacher.
“It gives me the opportunity to do what I love and show my kids that as an adult you can have hobbies and do things that are just for yourself,” he said.
Former Collegiate power holder Carly Austin was desperate to find something more competitive in her youth than in her previous life.
"Strengthening for me and my family is my outlet, my escape, my safe place," he said.
The Tigers are members of the United States Aussie Football League (USAFL) and are competing in their third edition. Aussie football or footy is a traditional sport of various sports. The aim of the game is to score goals (like rugby or soccer) through kicking, bouncing (dribbling like basketball) and handballing.
But the rules of the centenary tigers? Just have to show up.

"Just come out and have a good time."
"You have to have time to make friends."
"Just get out of there."
The Tigers practice Lone Tree, COW Tuesday and Saturday and they are actively recruiting athletes with no experience level.
