IPL 2021: Rana, Tripathi, bowlers on fire beat SKHK by 10 runs
Nitish Rana and Rahul Tripathi hit the quickfire in the fifties as Sunrisers beat Hyderabad by 10 runs in a match of IPL 2021 on Sunday. It was also KKR's 100th win in the IPL.

Nitish Rana had to make a strong start in 2021 in the Indian Premier League (IPL) after a positive test for Covid-19 late last month. On Sunday, the left-arm batsman showed that he overcame the shock with a great score of 80 (56b, 9x4, 4x6) to beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 10 runs to beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 10 runs at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. It was also KKR's 100th win in the IPL.
In the second wicket partnership for the third wicket of the runner, Rahul Tripathi made a quick 53 (29B, 5X4, 2X) to help KKR to 18 for six. The Australian chase got off to a bad start as openers David Warner and Diddhiman Saha lost in the Powerplay.

Johnny Bairstow, who came in at four, chased a 40-ball 5 and resurfaced. England's Shakib Al Hasan hit a six off extra cover before Andre Russell's 15-run innings in an over. He trailed Sandeep Sharma for three boundaries in the fourth over, two off-side and one over-fine.
With some help from Shubhaman Gill, KKR was able to drop 50 from the powerplay. Rashid Khan gave the Sunrisers their first breakthrough by removing Gill.
Rana and Tripathi can easily find the boundary, as KKR was able to score 95 runs in seven and 15 overs. Right-handed Tripathi caught Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the 15th over and pushed the Indian pacer behind two boundaries for six overs in the score leg. Highlight his fifty, the point is only 26 balls.
The Sunrisers got things back in the last five overs with four quick wickets, but that wasn’t enough in the end.
